Atlanta residents, Scrilla and A-Game met as children running with the same pack in their Ben Hill neighborhood. They both attended Westlake high school and enjoyed making music. Scrilla was known for his lyrical beat downs and A-Game for his tact to mix lyrics with harmony. They would later go on to endure the trials and tribulations that come with growing up in Atlanta’s Westside and develop the tenacity it takes to follow your dreams.

Scrilla is a lyrical genius having penned rhymes on projects from super producer, Nitti, rappers Paper Boi and Gucci Mane and Grand Hustle’s new artist J.R. Money. He has appeared on mix-tapes by industry heavyweights like DJ Sense, L.O.D, DJ Holiday and DJ Frog. Furthermore, Scrilla won the 2007 BMI Unsigned Hip Artist Showcase with a little help from his friend A-Game who sang the hook on “Spend Some Change in the Club” and “You and You.”

A-Game was turned on to music at an early age and the business that goes with it. His uncle owned a record label in Atlanta and A-Game utilized the opportunity by spending countless hours spent in the studio. He learned the MPC 2000 studio board and started making beats. He attended FAMU and soon met TJ Chapman from the now infamous TJs DJs record pool. This led him to further his knowledge and build his music industry contacts. He would go on to tour with Jeezy, Eight Ball and MJG, Ying Yang Twins and PSC click.

The two decided to combine their lyrical flows to create a signature powerhouse, Scrilla and A-Game. Scrilla’s flow shows an abundance of skill, swagger, finesse and hunger. He represents essence of rap in the early 90’s that didn’t hold back on the art form of story telling for survival. A-Game is the comedian of the two, he tells his story with humorous word play and an R&B rap flow.

They are now signed to Atlanta based DMG records with distribution by Fontana/Universal. Their solo debut will feature cuts by producer Brandon “BDON” Matthews (Purple Ribbon) with input from A-Game.

Be sure to turn the radio up because Scrilla & A-Game are coming and are sure to impact the music industry.
